Enjoy a full-day Nairobi wildlife and conservation experience combining a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park with visits to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and Giraffe Centre. Begin with an early game drive in search of rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Continue to the elephant conservation Centre to learn about the rescue and rehabilitation of orphaned elephants, followed by lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Giraffe Centre to learn about Rothschild’s giraffe conservation before returning to your Nairobi hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Early morning pick-up from your hotel and departure for Nairobi National Park. The early start provides a good opportunity for wildlife viewing when animals are most active. Enter the park and enjoy an exciting morning game drive across its open grasslands and acacia woodland. Look out for lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos, warthogs, antelopes and a variety of bird species. Enjoy photography and scenic views with Nairobi’s skyline providing a unique backdrop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the morning drive, proceed to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, arriving in time for the scheduled elephant experience. The visit focuses on elephant rescue, rehabilitation and conservation. Attend the elephant keeper’s presentation and learn about the rescued orphaned elephants, their rehabilitation and eventual reintegration into the wild. Guests can learn about the conservation challenges facing Kenya’s elephants and the work undertaken by the Trust.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
